Obituary for Marilyn Ann Hinson
A funeral service for Marilyn Ann Hinson, 62 of Kershaw will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2015, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Abney Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Wheeler and Mr. Jeff Hinson will officiate. Mrs. Hinson died Tuesday evening April 14, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Cheraw, she was a daughter of Lisa Lyles Driggers and the late Bobby Baker. She worked alongside her husband at Hinson Appliance. She was of Freewill Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Mickey Reed Hinson, Sr. of the home; a daughter, Tammy Horan; three step-sons, Mickey Hinson, Jr., Jeff Hinson and Ronald Hinson; seven grandchildren and a great grandson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Libby Hinson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home, 3536 Gates Ford Rd., Kershaw. Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
