Obituary for Marguerite S. Rollins
Funeral services for Marguerite Sullivan Rollins, 90 of Kershaw will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Twitty will officiate. Mrs. Rollins, widow of Max E. Rollins died Thursday, February, 6, 2014, in CMC – Main, Charlotte. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Minor and Madge Johnson Sullivan. Mrs. Rollins was a member of First Baptist Church and a former employee of Springs Industries. She also enjoyed singing. Surviving are a son, Ralph Rollins (Arlene) of Jefferson; 2 grandchildren, Chad Rollins (Mandy) of Jefferson, and Tamra Mahaffee (Alton) of Lancaster; 4 great grandchildren, Savannah Rollins, Isabella Rollins, Conner Rollins, and Garrett Wilkins; 4 sisters, Emmadine Wright of Lancaster, Jolene Twitty (Francis) of Rock Hill, Bobby Ruth Reeves (James) and Mary Jackson both of Heath Springs. She was predeceased by sister, Etta Mae Williams and 5 brothers, Steve Sullivan, Mendel Sullivan, James Muroe Sullivan, William Howard Sullivan, and Frank Sullivan. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 67, Kershaw, S.C. 29067. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
