Obituary for Margie English Bowers
Margie English Bowers, 79, of Westville, SC, passed away, Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at her home. Born in Camden, She was a daughter of the late James Dalton English and Annie Mae Wilson English. She was a homemaker and had served as a teacher’s aide and dental assistant. Mrs. Bowers was a faithful member of Refuge Baptist Church and enjoyed attending The Cross and the Sword Church. She was married to the late Jesse John Bowers, who predeceased her in 2017.
Surviving are her 2 sons, Tommy Bowers and his wife Lisa and Jackie Bowers and his wife Jacqueline and 2 grandchildren, Sara J. Bowers and Chase R. Bowers.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Saturday morning, November 14, 2020, in Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Evan Smith and Pastor Tommy Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
The family will acknowledge friends at the cemetery following the service. Please practice social distancing.
Friends may come by Baker Funeral Home, Friday, November 13, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to sign the register book and pay their respects. The family will not be at the funeral home.
