Obituary for Lorenzo T. Faile
Funeral services for Lorenzo Thomas Faile, 81 of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2014, in Center Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Mr. Faile died Saturday, February 15, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late S.W., Sr. and Nellie Roberts Faile. Mr. Faile retired from Grace Bleachery and was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. He also served in the United States Air Force for 4 years during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Sally V. Faile; 2 daughters, Terri Faile Lee and her husband Dale of Aiken and Vicki Faile of Columbia; 2 sisters, Sadie Mungo and Margaret Johnson both of Lancaster; 2 brothers, S.W. Faile, Jr. of Kershaw and Cary Faile of Shalimar, FL. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Faile and 2 brothers, Robert and J.T. Faile. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 16, 2014, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 510 W. Hilton Street, Kershaw. Memorial contributions may be made to Center Grove Baptist Church, 236 Scout Cabin Road, Kershaw, SC 29067. The family would like to thank Mr. Faile’s caretakers, Nancy Rushing and Mary Bowers, nurses; Catina Duncan and Michelle Clark; the staff of Homecare and Hospice of Lancaster and Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House for the love and care shown to Mr. Faile.
