Obituary for Linson Troy Kersey
The family will hold a memorial service for Linson Troy Kersey, 68, of Lancaster, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., in the sanctuary of New Life Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. Doug Pate will officiate.
Mr. Kersey passed away, Friday, January 11, 2019, at Springs Memorial Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Marvin Wilson Kersey and Gladys Wright Kersey and was retired from the textile industry. He was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle.
Surviving are his daughter, Stacey R. Bryson and her husband Jerry of Kershaw; 5 grandchildren, Eddie Deese, Stephanie Deese, Sarah Bryson, Shania Bryson and Serry Bryson and 2 brothers, David Kersey and Wayne Kersey and his wife Faye of Lancaster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Dewey Deese.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, January 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at New Life Freewill Baptist Church prior to the service.
