Linda C. Roberts

Linda Mae Coker Roberts, 64, of Heath Springs, S.C., passed away, Sunday evening, November 28, 2021. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Otis Coker and Louise Small Lyles. She was a homemaker and a member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church. She loved the time she spent with her grandson and was an avid Gamecock fan. She never met and stranger and was loved by all.

She is survived by her son, James Russell Roberts and his wife Shelby of Heath Springs, S.C.; her grandson, Wyatt James Roberts; 4 brothers, Larry (Gidget) Steele, Otis Coker, Tommy (Lisa) Coker and Randy Coker; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Sara S. Steele, Linda Coker, Jean (Dan) Faulkenberry and Sylvia (Patrick) Harmon; her uncle, Bruce (Gloria) Small and special friends, Rebecca and Ray Starnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell S. “Rut” Roberts and 2 brothers, Donnie Steele and Jerry Coker.

A memorial service will be held, Friday afternoon, December 10, 2021, in Flint Ridge Baptist Church at 3:00 o’clock p.m.

The family will receive friends, Friday afternoon, December 10, 2021, prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 o’clock p.m. in the church Family Life Center.

Inurnment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
