Obituary for Kelli Diane McManus
A funeral service for Kelli Diane McManus, 43 of Kershaw, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2015, in Pleasant Plain Baptist Church. The Revs. Todd Montgomery and Thurmond Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
She was born February 16th, 1972 in Lancaster, SC, to James Marshall “Sapphire” and Sylvia Diane West McManus. Kelli was a home health caregiver and a member of Pleasant Plain Baptist Church. She was always the life of the party and always wanted to be around her family and friends, whom she loved dearly. Kelli loved to sing and make people laugh every chance she was given. She was a very strong woman that never gave up, and even in the end, she was still making people laugh. Kelli passed away after a courageous 3 ½ year battle with breast cancer Thursday evening, July 30th at her home. Kelli made it clear to everyone that she did not lose the battle because she was granted everlasting life with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Kershaw are three daughters, Kayla Michelle McManus of Lancaster, Kelsey Diane Horton of Camden, Madison Caroline McManus of Kershaw; her son, Landon James McManus of Kershaw; her grandson, Braiden Cole Brazell; two sisters, Michelle McManus Ussery and Jaime McManus King both of Kershaw; three nieces; Brantley and Danielle Ussery and Kaegan King , and her best friend and caregiver, Toronda “Candy” Hopkins.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, August 2, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the church and other times at the home.

Regency Hospice provided exceptional service to the McManus family during this time.
