Obituary for Joshua Martin Kennington
Joshua Martin “Josh” Kennington, 37, of Kershaw, S.C., died Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Born in Camden,S.C., he was the son of Angela Kennington Martin and the late Wayne Outen. Josh loved spending time with his children.
Surviving are his mother and step father, Angela “Angie” (Albert) Martin of Kershaw, S.C.; 2 children, Laythan Kennington and Amira Kennington; his companion, Kiana Chambers of Pageland, S.C.; his step-daughter, Kyasia; his maternal grandparents, Gordon and Esther R. Kennington of Kershaw, S.C.; special aunts, Robin Ihm (Holger) of Lancaster, S.C. and Jill Dixon (Chad) of Kershaw, S.C.; cousins, Samantha, Olivia, and Isabella Ihm, Caroline, Madison, Aubrey, and Brayden Dixon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Plain Baptist Church Cemetery. The Revs. Bryant D. Fersner and Karen Ballard will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm in Baker Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
