Obituary for Jody R. Owens
Jody Randall Owens, 50 of Houston, TX and formerly of Kershaw, SC died Sunday, June 16. Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of Geraldine Coates Truesdale, Lonnie Truesdale and the late Larry Jack Owens. Jody was a talented carpenter having worked in the construction industry for many years. He was a graduate of North Central High School and had attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Kershaw and Bethany Baptist Church, Westville.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Dylan Owens of Georgia and Dylan’s mother, Michelle Outlaw; his brother, Brian Owens and his wife, April of Lugoff and their children, Meagan and Karli Owens. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

A private service to remember his life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions in memory of Jody may be made to Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 603 Oak Ridge Church Road, Kershaw, SC.
