Joan Davis

Joan Davis, 89, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, at KershawHealth, Camden, S.C. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Massengill and Doris Brader Massengill. Mrs. Davis was a retired nurses aid . She loved working puzzles, reading, and going for walks.

Surviving are her daughter, Gwen Catoe (Larry); grandchildren, Daniel Amos and James Catoe; great-granddaughter, Calyn Amos; sister, Jill Rodgers (Jack); two nieces, Becca Morris (Gordon) and Holly Izsa (Rob); second nieces and nephews, Andrew, Scott, Brett, and Victori. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Davis; daughter, Cynthia Amos and a son, Billy Davis.

The family will hold a memorial service, 11:00 o’clock a.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at 147 Catoe Road, Kershaw, S.C. Rev. Craigan Blakenship will officiate.
