Obituary for Jerry Singleton Hagins
Mr. Jerry Singleton Hagins, 84, of Kershaw, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016. Mr. Hagins was the son of the late Vernice and Alma Small Hagins. He was married to the late Elizabeth “Betsy” Agnew Hagins. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Hal Hagins, a sister, Becky Hagins Norman and a great granddaughter, Maghan Alexander Bowers.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Helen Connell and her husband Jeff, Nan Hendrix and her husband Dennis all of Kershaw; grandchildren, Jay Farmer and her husband Buck, Lee Bowers and her husband Chris, Rob Connell, Jeremy Connell and his wife Sam; great grandchildren, Wade Bowers, Hayley Russell, West Connell and Allen Colton Connell; a sister, Janice Hagins Hollins and her husband Bill of Columbia, along with special nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held Wednesday, October 26th, at 4:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Keven Newsome. Burial will be in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the private service on Wednesday, October 26th beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Jeremy and Sam Connell. 193-A Catoe Rd., Kershaw.
