Obituary for Jerry Lane Robinson
Jerry Lane Robinson, 75, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Tuesday evening, January 26, 2021, in MUSC – Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C., he was a son of the late Hartsell Robinson and Sallie Williams Robinson. Mr. Robinson was an industrial insulator. He was a faithful member of Thorn Hill Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and sang in the choir. Mr. Robinson loved to play golf, fish and read his bible. He cherished the time he spent with his grandson, Preston. He also served in the Army National Guard.

Surviving is his loving wife of 53 years, Sybil Craig Robinson; 2 sons, Troy (Missy) Robinson of Heath Springs, S.C. and Randall Robinson and his special friend, Crystal Adams of Heath Springs, S.C.; 4 brothers, Johnny (Margaret) Robinson of Kershaw, S.C, Arthur (Nell) Robinson of Thomson, GA, Charles Ray (Linda) Robinson of Kershaw, S.C., Wayne (Judy) Robinson of Kershaw, S.C. and a sister-in-law, Barbara Robinson of Heath Springs, S.C. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his siblings, H.M. Robinson, Doris Francis, Bill Robinson, Melville Lee Sowell, Kemper David Robinson and Marshall Robinson.

A memorial service to remember his life will be held, Sunday, January 31, 2021, at 3:00 o’clock p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Coates will officiate.

The family will greet friends following the memorial service at the funeral home. We ask that face coverings be worn for everyone’s safety.
