Jennifer Alane “Jenny” Gainey, 53, of Heath Springs, passed away, Friday, August 21, 2020, at her home. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late James Curtis “Curt” Gainey and Grace Eubanks Gainey. Jenny was an LPN and a member of Timrod Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching television and spending time with her family. She especially loved being a recent grandmother.
Surviving are her daughter, Hannah Grace Gainey; her granddaughter, Zaylee Grace Soucy; 2 brothers, Burton (Christy) Gainey and Derrick (Christina Selle) Gainey and 2 nephews, Chase and Jack and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 5:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, August 25, in the Timrod Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jeremy Ussery will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the inurnment in the church Fellowship Hall.
Memorial contributions in memory of Jenny may be made to Timrod Baptist Church, 4227 Timrod Road, Bethune, S.C. 29009.
