Janice D. Mcpherson

Janice Deloris Farmer McPherson, 66, of Bethune, S.C, passed away, Thursday, February 3, 2022, in MUSC Kershaw Health Medical Center, Camden, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Lynell Farmer and Margie Williams Farmer. Mrs. McPherson was the former custodian for Timrod Baptist Church. She loved taking care of her plants and going shopping. She also loved her dog, Cooper.

She is survived by her faithful husband of 43 years, Hazel Lee McPherson; her daughter, Jessica Lee McPherson; her son, Jan Michael McPherson and 2 sisters, Brenda (Myron) Vaughn and Deborah Gerald.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2022, in Timrod Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jeremy Ussery will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the cemetery and other times at their home.
