Janice Catoe Cauthen, 64, of Kershaw, S.C. died at her home, Tuesday, November 25, 2020. Born in Pageland, S.C. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Catoe and Ruby C. Catoe. Janice was a former employee of Buford Middle School and a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. She loved reading and watching hummingbirds. Janice loved her husband, children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Kenneth B. Cauthen; daughter, Julie C. Webster (Chad) of Charleston; son, Matthew B. Cauthen, of Kershaw, S.C.; grandchildren Payton Cauthen, Caleb Webster, and Adalyn Webster; brothers, Donald Catoe (Kathy) of Charleston and Clarence Catoe (Kathy) of Pageland; sisters, Sue Rollings of Surfside Beach, Elaine Knight of Lancaster, Diane Gregory (Randy) of Fort Lawn, and Emily Robinson (Philmore) of Kershaw. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Sullivan.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 27, at 3:00 p.m. in Sand Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Michael Owens will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
