Obituary for Jackie Hunter
Jackie Hunter, 69, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Thursday evening, April 28, 2022, at MUSC Health – Kershaw, Camden, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of the late Lloyd Cecil Hunter and Lillie Mae Rollins Hunter. He was a long-haul truck driver for many years. He also worked many years at NAPA auto parts in Kershaw. Mr. Hunter enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Brenda Craig Hunter; his nephew, Kevin Hunter and his wife, Tina; his niece, Kelly Hunter; his great nephew, Ryan Hunter and his great niece, Camryn Hunter all of Kershaw. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Cecil “Jimmy” Hunter.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2022, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the cemetery.
Memorial remembrances may be donated to the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Hunter.
