Obituary for Indya Cheyenne Jewell

Indya Cheyenne Chappell Jewell, 26, of Harker Heights, TX, passed away, Thursday, October 6, 2022, in Baylor Scott and White Medical Center- Temple. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of Frank Chappell and Tracy Ghent Baldwin and Mark Baldwin.


Indya enjoyed making crafts, spending time with her family, movies, making photo shoots and just going out and about.


In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Sgt. Zachary Jewell, stationed at Fort Hood, TX; 3 children, Abigail, Jackson and Cadence; her brother, Rayford Ghent and his wife, Samantha; 2 sisters, Sherri Chappell and Amber Baldwin and nieces and nephews, Rayford, Jr., Raeleigh Marie, Natalie Brooke, Aubrey Jean, Lauren Yvonne and Logan Lado.


Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday evening, October 12, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C. Rev. Larry Humphries will officiate.


Interment services will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, S.C.
