Obituary for Helen Catoe
A memorial service for Helen Catoe, 67 of Heath Springs, SC will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw. Rev. Larry Reeves will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Catoe died Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster. Born in Kershaw, SC, she was the daughter of the late Julius C. and Ethel Vincent Catoe. Ms. Catoe enjoyed making small crafts and singing. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of God. Surviving are her son, Roger Dale Catoe of Heath Springs; 2 sisters, Mabelene Jenkins of Heath Springs, Fannie Mae Mahaffey of Kershaw; 2 brothers, Williams Catoe of Rock Hill and Marcus Sammie Catoe of Jefferson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wylie Thomas Catoe and 3 sisters, Betty Jean Hancock, Ethelene Catoe and Peggy Delores Catoe. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Church of God, 209 Barrett Rd., Heath Springs, SC 29058
