Obituary for Helen B. Davis
Graveside services for Helen Bowers Davis, 87 of Lancaster, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Monday, March 11, 2019 in Lancaster Memorial Park.
Mrs. Davis passed away, Thursday, March 7, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Benton “T.B.” Bowers and Faye Robertson Bowers. She was the owner of Helen Davis Insurance. Mrs. Davis loved to travel in her spare time.
Surviving are her son, Bruce Davis of Lancaster; her daughter, Terri Davis of Murrells Inlet; 2 grandchildren, Ann McManus and Bobby R. Knight, Jr. and his wife Deborah all of Lancaster; 4 great grandchildren, Jason Hoke, Jr., Elizabeth McManus, Annolyn Knight and Kalyn Knight; her sister, Sara B. Bowers of Kershaw; son-in-law, Bobby R. Knight, Sr. of Lancaster and a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece, Lynn B. Crenshaw and her husband Mike of Heath Springs. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by a daughter, Ann Knight and 2 sisters, Geraldine Freeman and Pauline Westberg.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery and also at 1841 Starmount Circle, Lancaster.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Davis may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
