Obituary for Heather Sims Martin
Heather Dyan Sims Martin, 30 years old, passed away, Saturday, September 12, 2020, from injuries received in an automobile accident with her son. Born in Albany, GA, she was a daughter of Tony Hazel Sims and Angeline Dianne Hilliard Sims. She was married to Larry Dale Martin.

Heather was a Harry Potter fan. She loved music and spending time with her children. She was employed at 521 Filling Station.

Surviving in addition to husband and parents are her son, Erik Logan Martin, age 7; her daughter, Skylar Amanda Hope Martin, age 4; her sister, Alicyn Samantha (Trey Barjona) Sims; 2 brothers, Malcom Edward Williamson, Tony Christopher Sims; her mother-in-law, Michelle Martin; special cousin, Matthew (Christina) Sims and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Ares Ryan Martin.

Friends may come by Baker Funeral Home, Friday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and pay their respects and sign the register book. The family will not be present.

The family will be at the home of her sister, 4714 Catawba Road, Kershaw, S.C. and will also greet friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.

The graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020, in Open Arms Baptist Church Cemetery, 5401 Lockhart Road, Kershaw, S.C. 29067. Rev. Thomas Sullivan will officiate. Burial will follow the graveside service.

Memorial contributions in memory of Heather may be made to Baker Funeral Home, 210 East Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 to help with funeral expenses.
