A graveside service for Harriet Ann Phillips Estridge, age 82, of Kershaw, S.C., will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday morning, April 19, 2023, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Todd Gandy will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
Mrs. Estridge died Saturday evening, April 15, 2023, at her daughter’s home. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was the daughter of the late W.F. Phillips and Grace Stroud Phillips. She retired from Springs Industries and loved taking care of people of all ages wherever there was a need. She was a precious angel God put on earth to bring joy and help to all she knew. She was a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church and held many positions there working with the youngest to the oldest.
Surviving are her 2 daughters, Tammy Estridge Roberts and her husband, Kenneth, of Kershaw, S.C., Julie Estridge Phillips and her fiancé, Ray Hilton of Lancaster, S.C., 2 sons, Barry C. Estridge of Kershaw, S.C., and Joseph Brian Estridge and his wife, Sandra of Kershaw, S.C.; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gary Phillips and his wife, Lois of Batesburg-Leesville, S.C. and Joseph Daniel Phillips of Kershaw, S.C.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Estridge, a granddaughter, Leila Hope Roberts and a great grandson, Matthew Catledge.
Memorial remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
