Obituary for Gladys Deese Catoe
Funeral services for Gladys Deese Catoe, 87, of Kershaw will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, in the sanctuary of Midway Baptist Church. The Revs. Steve Warren, Todd Gandy and Todd Montgomery will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Catoe, loving wife of the late Wylie T. Catoe, died Monday, April 2, 2018, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late L. R. Deese and Crinder Faile Deese. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church. She also enjoyed working in her yard.

Surviving are 2 sons, Carol T. (Sandra) Catoe, Rex E. (Kathy) Catoe; her daughter, Kim C. (Terry) Roberts all of Kershaw; 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 11 siblings, 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Conference Center, 105 N. Minor St., Kershaw.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Catoe may be made to Midway Baptist Church, 7760 Old Jefferson Highway, Kershaw, SC 29067 or the charity of one’s choice.
