Obituary for George Thomas Rudd, Jr.
Services for George T. Rudd, Jr., 75, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw. Mr. Rudd died Saturday, May 7. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
Born in Arlington, Mass., he was the only son of the late George T., Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Duffy Rudd.
Mr. Rudd held a masters degree in social work and served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years.
Surviving are his wife 44 years, Artis Catoe Rudd of the home; his aunt, Katherine McCarthy and her son Martin and his brother-in-law, Ken Catoe and his wife Jo.
