Obituary for Geneva R. Morgan
A memorial service to remember and celebrate the life of Geneva R. Morgan, 81, of Kershaw, S.C., will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the Family Life Center of Buffalo Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Humphries will officiate. She will be buried with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.
Mrs. Morgan, widow of the late Russell Morgan passed away, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her home. Born in Exeter, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Roy E. Bowman and Mary Ada Peters Bowman. She was a former underwriter in the insurance industry. She loved to shop, cook and was an extraordinary hostess. She was also a member of Buffalo Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Rose and her husband, Vincent; her son, Russell Morgan, Jr. and his wife, Michelle; 4 grandchildren, Jessica (Cameron) Payne, Kylie Morgan, Erin Morgan and Joseph Novak and her twin brother, Ray Bowman.
