Obituary for Gene C. Faile
Gene Faile, 68, of Kershaw, passed away, Thursday, February 4, 2021, at MUSC Health - Lancaster. Born in Kershaw S.C., he was a son of the late S.B. Faile and Eula Payne Faile. Mr. Faile enjoyed playing the guitar, the piano, and playing golf. He also enjoyed watching Clemson football.
Surviving is his former wife, Debbie O. Faile of Kershaw, S.C.; a daughter, Jennifer A. Faile of Kershaw, S.C.; a son, Richie B. Faile (Melinda) of Camden, S.C.; six grandchildren; Bradley Faile, Bogan Faile, Brody Faile, Daphne Faile, Dallas Faile, and Isabella Faile. He is also survived by two sisters, Peggy Bowers (David) of Kershaw, S.C. and Teresa Hudson (Bruce) of Kershaw, S.C.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Faile and a sister, Patricia Williams.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Faile may be made to White Bluff Baptist Church, 3125 Duckwood Road, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
A graveside service will be held, Monday, February 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in White Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Doug Humphries will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
