Funeral services for Faye Golden Roberts, 74 of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at Buffalo Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Curtis Cameron and Kevin Walters will officiate. Mrs. Roberts died Saturday, October 12, 2013, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Ducktown, TN, she was the daughter of the late Leland and Mae Nicholson Golden. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. She was very active in her church serving as a past secretary and financial secretary, member of the hostess committee, sign committee and was a member of the Hattie Roberts Sunday School Class. She also enjoyed reading and keeping children in her home. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Arnold Roberts; 3 children, Robie Roberts (Sarah) of Hartsville, Dana Braswell (Marc) and Kevin Roberts (Robin) all of Kershaw; 7 grandchildren, Caleb Roberts, Jenna Roberts, Krista Bublik (Drew), Will Reeves (Brittany), Tabby Braswell, Caleb Braswell and his fiancé Erika and Tyler Reeves; 2 great grandchildren, Abigail Bublik and Mackenzie Bublik; 2 sisters, Roslyn Holmes of Martinsburg, W. VA. , Linda Golden of El Paso, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn King and a brother, Leland Golden, Jr. The family will receive friends, Monday, October 14, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister-in-law, 5990 Lockhart Rd., Kershaw.
