Obituary for Emma Dine Wright
Funeral services for Emma Dine Sullivan Wright, 94 of Kershaw will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2014, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Dr. Larry Twitty and Scott Robinson will officiate. Mrs. Wright, widow of Walter Wright died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster. Born in the Mt. Pisgah Community of Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Minor and Madge Myrtis Johnson Sullivan. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Margie Wright Baker and her husband Eugene of Kershaw; 2 granddaughters, Beverly Williams of Lancaster and Angela Robinson and her husband Rev. Scott Robinson of Kershaw; a grandson, Kevin Twitty and his wife Kimberly of Kershaw; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and 3 sisters, Bobbie Ruth Reeves of Heath Springs, Jolene Twitty of Rock Hill and Mary Jackson of Heath Springs. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Marguerite Rollings, Etta M. Williams and 5 brothers; Steve Sullivan, Mendel “Buster” Sullivan, James Muroe Sullivan, Frank Sullivan and William Sullivan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
