Obituary for Ellie Mae Faile
Ellie Mae Faile, 86, widow of Lewis Boag Faile, died Tuesday, September 22, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Bethune, she was the daughter of the late Graden and Eva Mae Eubanks Davis. Mrs. Faile had retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson.
Surviving are a daughter, Vickie F. Oliver (J.T.) of Jefferson; two sons, John Lewis Faile of Conway and Danny Faile of Bethune; 4 grandsons; 1 great grandson and a sister, Helen Aldridge of Bishopville. She was preceded in death by two sons, Mardie Faile and Archie Faile, and a brother, Aaron Davis.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 25, at 11:00 o’clock a.m. in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. William Griggs will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24, from 6:00 o’clock p.m. to 7:30 o’clock p.m. in Baker Funeral Home.
