Obituary for Elizabeth "Juanita" Key Holley
Elizabeth Key “Juanita” Holley, 69, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Friday morning, March 11, 2022, at her home. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was a daughter of John Joseph Key, Jr. and Allie Bass Key Pierce. She was a seamstress, formerly employed with Hermitage Mills and McAllister’s Sewing Plant. Later she was employed with Subway in Kershaw.
Surviving is her husband, Charles Michael “Mike” Holley; 4 daughters, Shelby Jean Moseley, Laura “Tippy” Elliftris, Teresa A. Kelly and Haley Shantale Price; 8 grandchildren including a special grandchild, Jazymn Price; 14 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, Carolyn K. Baxley, Geneva K. Mock, Sharon “Cheryl“ Key, Betsy K. Brown; a brother, Mitchell Pierce and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lonnie Ray Ellis and Cynthia Joy Ellis. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Moseley Ivey; a son-in-law, Kevin James Sowell; a brother, Ernest Joe Key and a sister, Lillian K. Talbert.
A viewing and receiving of friends will be held Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be announced later to be held at House of Prayer with Open Arms Church. Rev. Donnie Barrett will officiate.
