Obituary for Earl Glenn Austin, Jr.
A graveside service for Earl Glenn Austin, Jr., 58 of Kershaw, SC, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015, in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Jefferson, SC. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate.

Mr. Austin died Sunday, July 12, in Providence Hospital, Columbia, SC. Born in Lancaster, SC, he was a son of Earl Glenn, Sr. and Inez Hinson Austin. Mr. Austin retired from Dupont Co. after 28 years of service. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Mr. Austin loved playing golf and was a avid Clemson fan. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and his children.

Surviving in addition to his father and mother of Kershaw are his wife of 36 years, Debbie Knight Austin; two sons, Christopher Glenn Austin and Kyle Austin both of Kershaw; his brother, Mitchell Austin and his wife Pat of Kershaw, his in-laws and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home of Tammie and Mitch Boone, 9478 Flat Creek Road, Kershaw, SC.

Memorials in memory of Mr. Austin may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 2140 McBee Highway, Jefferson, SC 29718.
