Obituary for Dyanna Lynn Ogborn
Funeral services for Dyanna Lynn Ogborn, 61, (39 and Holding) of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Sand Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Chadwick Ivester will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Mrs. Ogborn died Thursday, June 28, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in North Platte, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Dale Eugene and Delores Ann Schottel McKillip. She enjoyed painting gnomes, gardening and cooking. Mrs. Ogborn had worked in various beauty salons and loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She also had been an active member of Kershaw Fire Department Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Robert E. 'Mouse' Ogborn of the home; 5 daughters, Bobby Jo Vincent (Steven), Jamie Lynn Hinson (Jeff), Billie Marie Sullivan (Jamie), Ronie Jo Ogborn, Amy-Dale Evans (Keith) all of Kershaw; 12 grandchildren, Christian “D” Hunter, Kevin Hunter, Cameron Hunter, Rebecca Hinson, Ty Hinson, Cy Hinson, Ry Hinson, Bryce Sullivan, Kendall Sullivan, Zackary Edwards, Kelsi Evans, Kenzi Evans; 3 sisters, Donna Moore of North Platte, Nebraska, Deresa Adams (Benny) of Heath Springs, Mary Jane Stubbs (Rick) of Cambridge, Nebraska and a special honorary sister, Linda Lucas (Jerry) of Kershaw. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 to help with funeral expenses. The family will receive friends any time at the home, 510 W. Stevens Dr. and following the service at the cemetery. A public viewing will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the 11th floor Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Palmetto Health Richland, East and West wings for their concern and compassion during Mrs.’s Ogborn’s stay.
