Obituary for Donnie Lee Outen
A service to celebrate the life of Donnie Lee Outen, 56 of Kershaw, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. A private burial will be held in the Kershaw City Cemetery at a later date. Rev. Dr. Jason Moss will conduct the service.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Mr. Outen passed away, Tuesday, April 16, at his home. Born in Bethesda, Maryland, he was a son of the late W.L. Outen and Carrie Jewell Holmes Outen. He was a former maintenance technician for the Town of Kershaw. He loved lifting weights and listening to music.
Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon Phillips Outen; 2 children, Shannon Lee Bowers and her husband Chris, Dustin Brannon Fletcher; 3 grandchildren, Amber Catoe, Katie Catoe and Ethan Bowers; his brother, William Ronald Outen; his father and mother-in-law, Waldo and Carolyn Phillips; his sister-in-law, Kelli P. Turner and her husband William and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
