Obituary for Donald Rodgers
A memorial gathering for Donald Rodgers, 71, of Jefferson, will be held Thursday, June 21, from 2:00 to 3:00 o’clock p.m., at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw.

Mr. Rodgers died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital, Columbia. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Carson and Nettie Kay Eubanks Rodgers. Mr. Rodgers retired from Bowers Fibers and was a former employee of Caro-Knit. He was a jack of all trades. Mr. Rodgers enjoyed working on lawn mowers and doing carpentry work.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rhonda Byrd Rodgers; 2 daughters, Sandy Gleaton and her husband Shannon and Wendy Knight and her husband Tommy; 1 son, Justin Rodgers; 1 grandson, Brandon Oliver; his brother, Bill Rodgers and his sister, Lou Roscoe. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger Fay Rodgers and a sister, Ann Quillen.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Rodgers may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
