Obituary for Diane M. Williams
Diane Matthews Williams, 79, of Kershaw, passed away, Friday, July 3, 2020, at Prisma Health Richland, Columbia. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Marjorie Hatfield Matthews. Diane worked many years in the clerical field and was a member of First Baptist Church, Kershaw. She was very artistic. She loved making crafts and refinishing furniture. Diane was married to the late James Rufus “Jim” Williams.

Surviving are her brother, Bruce Matthews and his wife Susan of Raleigh, N.C. and close friends and caretakers, Barry and Becky Hinson of Kershaw.

A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., in Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Adam Wright and Bryant D. Fersner will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.

The family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church, P.O. Box 862, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 in memory of Mrs. Williams.
