Deborah C. "Debbie" Roberts

Deborah Copeland “Debbie” Roberts, 61, of Bethune, S.C, passed away, Friday evening, March 11, 2022, at her home. Born in Columbia, S.C., she was a daughter of the late, Hayes J. Copeland and Elizabeth O’Sheal Copeland. She was an accountant for Universal Storage Group.

Debbie had an infatuating smile and loved to laugh. She also loved to add, subtract and socialize.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Hayes Copeland; an uncle, William E. “Billy” Copeland and his wife, Barbara; 2 aunts, Marcie Mincey and Pam Renfroe; her faithful canine companion, Tek and numerous cousins.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Bethune, S.C. Rev. James Melton will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Thiel-Meyer Pet Adoption Center – Kershaw County Humane Society, 128 Black River Road, Camden, S.C. 29020 or Pleasant Hill Baptist Church – Cemetery Fund, 2602 Mecklenburg Road, Bethune, S.C. 29009.

The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery or at the home.
