Obituary for Dealice N. Brewer
Funeral services for Dealice Northrup Brewer, 73 of Kershaw, S.C., will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, January 26th, 2016, in the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Rev. Hugh McKinney will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
Ms. Brewer died Saturday, January 23rd, 2016, surrounded by her family at White Oak Manor, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Hartsville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Harold Northrup and Margie Hunter Northrup Christmas. She was a teacher for more than thirty years in the Lancaster County School System. She was member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church where she loved her church family. Most importantly, she loved the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Mandy Laine Poston and her husband Dennis of Lexington, S.C.; 2 sons, Heath Brewer and his wife Angie and Shane Brewer and his wife Stephanie all of Kershaw, S.C.; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Poston, Seth Poston, Brooke Brewer, Parker Brewer, Raegen Brewer and Abby Brewer; a sister, Merry Christmas of Rock Hill, S.C. and a brother, Eddie Christmas of Charlotte, N.C. She was preceded in death by a son, Mitch D. Brewer and a grandson, Justin Brewer.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, January 26th, 2016, beginning at 2:00 o’clock p.m., in the church Family Life Center and other times at her son’s home, 704 Country Club Road, Kershaw, S.C.
