Obituary for Daniel Curtis Joyner
The family will hold a memorial service for Daniel Curtis Joyner, 32, of Bethune, Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at 1:00 o’clock p.m. in the sanctuary of Timrod Baptist Church. Rev. Jeremy Ussery will officiate. Burial will be private a t a later date.
Mr. Joyner died Saturday, June 23, 2018, at his home. Born in Camden, he was a son of Curtis Cleveland Joyner and Cynthia Ann Davis Joyner. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his 3 sons. Mr. Joyner also worked construction.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Bethune are 3 sons, Jarrett Curtis “J.J.” Joyner, Austin Blake Joyner and Daniel Wayne “D.J.” Joyner all of Bethune; 2 sisters, Dawn Robinson and her husband, Stewart of Ruby, May Anderson and her fiancé, Carl of Florence; maternal grandmother, Ruth Davis of Bethune and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ray Davis and his paternal grandparents, James and Pauline Joyner.
The family will receive friends briefly, immediately following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
Those wishing to make a donation, may make a contribution to the fund set up for his sons, and given to the family.
