Obituary for Curtis Faile Jr.

Curtis Faile, Jr., age 84, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at his home. Born in Kershaw, S.C., he was a son of the late Curtis Columbus Faile and Hattie Watts Faile.


Mr. Faile was a faithful member of White Bluff Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He loved to fish and watch NASCAR racing. He also loved his garden and sharing his produce with others.


Surviving is his loving wife of 63 years, Judy Robinson Faile; 3 children, Curtis Edward Faile (Fengyun), Jonathan David Faile (Sonya), and Laura Faile Bowers (Benji); 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and his brother, Finley Faile.


Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1, at 11:00 a.m. in White Bluff Baptist Church with entombment to follow in the church cemetery.


Rev. Doug Humphries and Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin will officiate.


The family will receive friends following the entombment service in the church fellowship hall.


Memorial contributions may be made to White Bluff Baptist Church, 3125 Duckwood Road, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.


Arrangements are under the care of Baker funeral home, Kershaw, S.C.
