Curtis Allen Wright, 46, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Monday, July 19, 2021, in Kershaw Health, Camden, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C., he was a son of Doris Loree Hornsby Beck and the late Carl Curtis Wright, Jr. Curtis was currently employed with Georgia Pacific as a millwright. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was happiest when hunting, fishing, raising dogs and coon hunting. He also enjoyed on occasion, a good nap. He loved mentoring young hunters who were beginning to coon hunt.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Annie Berseng; his daughter, Allie Wright; brother, Glenn Catoe, stepfather, Glenn Earl Catoe and his beloved aunt, Linda Mackey and her husband, Robin. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Hattie Mae Hornsby and his beloved uncle, Tom Hornsby.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Gandy will officiate.
The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home.
