Obituary for Clarence Weeks
Funeral services for Clarence Weeks, 88, of Kershaw, SC, and formerly of Okeechobee, FL, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in the sanctuary of Buffalo Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. James A. Way will officiate.
Mr. Weeks died Sunday, August 19, 2018. Born in Lake Wales, FL, he was a son of the late Chemilcal Armemitus Weeks and Esther Nettles Weeks. He retired from Pratt-Whitney Aircraft in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and attended Buffalo Baptist Church. Mr. Weeks was also a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his daughter, Linda (Steve) Reheiser of Kershaw; 2 sons, Eddie (Jackie) Weeks of Silver Springs, FL, Kenny (Denise) Weeks of Brooksville, FL; 8 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and a sister, Martha Wolford of Tampa, FL. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Pauline Weeks; a daughter, Pat Catoe and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends following the committal service in the church Family Life Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Buffalo Baptist Church, 6390 Lockhart Rd., Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
