A graveside service for Charlotte Catoe Gibson, 76, of Kershaw will be held on Saturday morning, February 17, at 11:00 o’clock a.m. in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Westville. Rev. Bobby James will officiate.
Mrs. Gibson, widow of Thomas H. “Ted” Gibson, died at home surrounded by her family, Wednesday, February 14. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Hudson Catoe and Corrie Broughton Catoe. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mrs. Gibson loved working outdoors and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Stacey Helms (Kevin) of Lancaster, Teddy Gibson (Donna) of Virginia, Susan Ahler of Heath Springs, and Dana McLemore (Ryan) of Kershaw; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary C. Holden of Kershaw and Martha Robinson (Allen) of Hartsville.
The family will speak with friends following the service at the cemetery.
