Obituary for Cathleen H. McInvaille
Mrs. Cathleen Hoffman McInvaille, 97, of Kershaw, S.C., went home to be with the Lord, just hours shy of her 98th birthday, on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Born in Hartsville, S.C., on April 10, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Hoffman and Mamie Brown Hoffman. She was a former of employee of Springs Industries.
Mrs. McInvaille loved to can vegetables. She also loved going fishing and spending time outdoors working in her gardens. She especially cherished the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her son and caretaker, Roger McInvaille of the home, her daughter, Claudia M. Tidwell of Kershaw, S.C.; 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Eddie McInvaille and Charles McInvaille.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening, April 13, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Thursday afternoon, April 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in Kershaw City Cemetery. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
