Carolyn Blackmon Wells, 66, of Heath Springs, S.C., passed away, Friday, June 18, 2021, in Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of Sarah Humphries Blackmon and the late Clifford Blackmon, Jr. Carolyn was a clerk at 2nd Chance Consignment & Crafts in Kershaw, S.C. She loved spending time at the consignment store, playing bingo and her church activities. She had a zest for life.

Surviving in addition to her mother, is her loving husband of 31 years, George Michael “Mike” Wells; her daughter, Melanie Dawn Reed of Heath Springs, S.C.; 2 stepdaughters, Alicia Colleen Carter of Kings Mountain, N.C. and Lindsay Claire Wells of Memphis, TN; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; her sister, Shirley B. Needham and her husband, Bob and her brother, Tony Blackmon and his wife, Wendy all of Heath Springs, S.C.

The family will receive friends, Sunday evening, June 19, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C., Monday, June 20, 2021, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Victory Worship Center, Lancaster, S.C. and Monday evening, June 20, 2021, at the home of her grandson, 159 Blackmon Circle, Kershaw, S.C.

The funeral service to remember and celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday afternoon, June 20,2021, in Victory Worship Center, Lancaster, S.C. The Revs. Brian Barton and Eddie Usher will officiate. Burial will follow in the Flint Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Heath Springs, S.C.

Memorial donations in memory of Carolyn may be made to Victory Worship Center, Post Office Box 943, Lancaster, S.C. 29721.
