Billy S. Outen, Sr.

Graveside services for Billy Sunday Outen, Sr., 76, of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Todd Gandy will officiate. Mr. Outen died Friday, September 21, at his home. Born in Chesterfield County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Lily Catledge Outen. He was a retired electrician and served in the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Mae Evangeline Estridge Outen of the home, 3 sons, “Sonny” Outen of Fairview, N.C., Joel Outen of Kannapolis, N.C., Oscar Outen (Deanna) of Unionville, N.C.; a daughter, Debbie Thomas of Monroe, N.C.; a step-son, Marvin Allen (Christy) of Lugoff; a sister, Pauline and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home of William B. Estridge, 4139 R.F. Banks Lane, Kershaw.
