Graveside services for Betty Stogner Threatt, 69, of Jefferson, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in High Point Baptist Church Cemetery, Lancaster. Rev. Stephen Braswell will officiate. Ms. Threatt died Saturday, June 23, in Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Lois Humphries Stogner. She retired from Cal-Maine Foods, Bethune, enjoyed fishing and watching movies. She also was a member of the 700 Club. Surviving are 4 sons; Bob Stogner of Jefferson, Scottie Threatt (Valerie) of Kershaw, Lynn Threatt (Cheri) of Lancaster, Jeffery Gentry (Faith ) of Jefferson, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters; Barbara Whitley, Lori Missildine, Debbie Stogner, Jeannie Sullivan all of Kershaw, 2 brothers, Pete Stogner of Lancaster and Ralph Stogner of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Stogner. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.
