Annie Sue Horton Demby

A graveside service for Annie Sue Horton Demby, 88 of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Monday, July 20, 2015, in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Terry Corder will officiate.

Ms. Demby died Wednesday, July 15, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Otis “Doc” and Pearl Anne Farmer Horton. She was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. Ms. Demby loved to read and enjoyed history.

Surviving are her daughter, Rita Faye (Kenneth) Hamilton of Layton, Utah; a son, Mike Demby of Kershaw; three grandchildren, Michael Kenneth Hamilton, Ryan William Hamilton and Jared Christopher Lynch; five great grandchildren and a sister, Ottey H. (Charles) Hunter of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jameson Anne Branham; a son, Gilbert Anthony Demby and two siblings, Fannie Lee Morgan and a infant sister.

The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
