Annie Mae Jones

Annie Mae Faulkenberry Jones, 83, widow of Russell Parker Jones, Sr., passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at her home. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Willie Faulkenberry and Lois Roberts Faulkenberry.

Annie worked at Grace Bleachery for a time and then at the Kershaw-IGA, from where she retired. She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church and the Kings Daughters Sunday School Class. Annie loved working in her garden, tending to the many flowers in her yard, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Russell Parker Jones, Jr. (Wendy) of Kershaw and Richard Tillman Jones (Kimberly) of Fort Mill; four grandchildren, Krystal Jones Catoe (Ben) of Lugoff, Angela Jones, Cody Jones and Parker Jones, all of Kershaw; seven great grandchildren, Meagan Cobb, Nicholas Cobb, Landon Jones, Donovan Holden, Kinley Holden, Kira Holden and Brendan Jones; two great-great grandchildren, Roman and Rylee Horne; two step-grandchildren, Jeremy Price and Scott Price (Danica); step great grandchild, Grace Price. She is also survived by a brother, Perry Faulkenberry of Kershaw, along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her siblings; James (Neatus) Faulkenberry, Manly (Sue) Faulkenberry, Fred (Helen) Faulkenberry, Louise (Wilford) Faulkenberry Phillips, Ruth (Buck) Faulkenberry Bradley, and Frances (Burton) Faulkenberry Bradley Raymond; a sister-in-law, Nancy Faulkenberry and a step-great granddaughter, Elin Price.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 26, at 11:00 a.m. in Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Owens officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sand Hill Baptist Church, 6895 Highway 341,Kershaw, S.C. 29067.

Friends may pay their respects and sign the register book, Thursday, March 25, 2021, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will not be present.
