Obituary for Annie Mae Dixon
A funeral service for Annie Mae Stevens Dixon, 86 of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Wednesday, October 21, in the sanctuary of Tabernacle United Methodist Church, McBee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Richard Toy will officiate.

Mrs. Dixon, loving wife of the late William Melvin Dixon died Sunday, October 18, in Chesterfield Convalescent Center, Cheraw. Born in Hartsville, she was a daughter of the late James G. “Bud” and Cora Lee Dixon Stevens. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Mrs. Dixon enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking, canning and working in her flower gardens.

Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Johnson and her husband Willie “Runt” Johnson of Hartsville; 2 sons, Roger Dixon and his wife Debra Dixon of Kershaw; Leonard Dixon and his companion, Sharon Kirkland of Lancaster; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Lela S. Dixon and Betty Grace Lyles. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Zachary Dixon and 2 brothers, Carson and Eugene Stevens.

The family will receive friends following the burial, Wednesday, October 21, in the church Fellowship Hall. The family are at their respected residences.
