Obituary for Alice P. Roberts
A funeral service for Mary Alice Phillips Roberts, 81, of Kershaw, SC, will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017, in the sanctuary of Sand Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Owens will officiate.
Mrs. Roberts died Thursday, April 27, 2017. Born in Kershaw, SC, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Alice Idell Johnson Phillips. She was the owner of Roberts Shell Station and a faithful member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Roberts was willing at any time to lend a helping hand, always putting others before herself. She also loved to shop and garden. Mrs. Roberts was a graduate of Kershaw High School and was married to the late Elmer Roberts who preceded her in death in 1991.
The family will receive friends, Friday, April 28, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 o’clock p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of Brian and Claudette.
