Obituary for Alice Faye Gardner
Alice Faye Truesdale Gardner, 83, of Camden, S.C., passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, Hartsville, S.C. Born in Westville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Henry Robert Truesdale and Jewel Kathleen T. Truesdale. Mrs. Gardner had retired as a 911 dispatcher with Kershaw County. She was a member of DeKalb Baptist Church.

Surviving are 2 sons, Troy William Gardner (Dava) and Trynn Phillip Gardner (Tayae); 6 grandchildren, Kristie Seals (Paul), Heather Truesdale, Brittany Gardner (Joey), Phillip Gardner, Erik Gardner (Danielle), and William Henry Gardner; 8 great grandchildren, Abigail, Isabella, Paul, III, Katherine, Rhett, Emma, Natalie and Alice and 2 sisters, Diane Williams (Arthur) and Brenda Barrett. In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Randy “Bobo” Truesdale, Richard Truesdale and Sidney Truesdale.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth Children’s Home, 2900 Millwood Avenue, Columbia, S.C. 29205.
